(Phone calls would be made to cast members from the original series to gauge their interest in appearing in some capacity.) Meanwhile, Mel would thrive as the new manager of the Blue Camellia, and she wouldn’t have to wait another seven years to reunite with Roxie; Maggie and Jordan would move into their dream apartment together, for better or worse; and Kaela would eventually find herself in a relationship with a woman.
