Following its cancellation, showrunner Mike O’Malley noted that they “did not intend, nor do we intend” for the finale to be “the last episode of the show.” If given the chance, new episodes would have explored the aftermath of Jack Spade’s (Stephen Amell) inability to move his legs after that Shooting Star Press-gone-wrong. “He is at that moment significantly injured. And the extent of what that injury is, we don’t know,” O'Malley teased.
