Despite the undeniable chemistry between Piper Perabo and Daniel Sunjata, a potential second season of this short-lived drama would not have seen their characters get together. At least not right away. “If they physically consummate their feelings, it would fundamentally change the series,” executive producer Josh Berman tells TVLine. We would, however, see “romantic sparks” between combative co-workers Avery and Megan (played by Rebecca Breeds and Sepideh Moafi). And Darin (Matt Walton) would get hired at a competing network, “which would put his son [Ryan] in a compromising position.”
