The Republic of Sarah

Luke Mitchell tells TVLine that he had spoken to the producers of The CW’s The Republic of Sarah “a little bit” about the possibilities for a second season, one which would have thoroughly explored an important — albeit platonic — relationship between Danny (Mitchell) and Grover (Ian Duff).

“I’m super bummed we didn’t get to explore it, because something that’s close to my heart is seeing guys open up and talk to each other and help each other through their life challenge,” Mitchell says. “That was something that would have been cool to see on screen, and for me to explore personally. But it was not to be.”
