Fans of this explosive, raunchy, over-the-top action comedy were hoping that — after managing to stop terrorists from blowing up Las Vegas, despite being under the influence of multiple substances — McKnight’s team would reunite for another mission in another city.

This tragically short-lived Netflix dramedy ended with makeup maven Marco (played by series star Miss Benny) visiting a transgender specialist, hinting at an exciting new journey for the character — one that, unfortunately, we won’t see play out on screen.

Showrunner Rachel Shukert told Vulture that she “really wanted to do a Super Special,” referring to author Ann M. Martin’s occasional super-sized editions of her popular novel series. “I was trying to figure out: Should they go to New York? Should they get snowed in? It depended on where they would let us shoot, and I was excited about telling a story that would see them into high school — not wrap everything up but honor what we made.”
